How does Microsoft's BING work?

Of course this is going to be a hot topic for some time, and I , myself am wondering,

How can I rank well in Microsoft's new Search Engine, Bing.com
"How does bing.com work?"

Content Update: August 27, 2009 - Regarding "How Bing.com Works"

I have been studying "BING.COM" now for a couple of weeks and I really must say, compared toGoogle in regards to crawl speed is concerned, I've seen pages I've created go from brand-new to in Google's top ranks in just a few days, whereas, with BING, I have yet to see the new search engine crawl any of the newly (somewhat) created pages I threw together in June, 2009.

I got a kick out of this. I searched "How does Bing work?" using the Bing search engine. Within the top ten, one of the search results is How does a bong work. Makes me sorta wonder how this search engine is going to work out, as well, makes me wonder if the developers are quite familiar with how a bong works.

"Bing.com": What it means to me.

I have not had much time to research how the search engine crawls, indexes and ranks pages, but I'm going to use this page to share some of my research with others. I don't think it is fair to hide secrets from others, to a certain degree. Though, I know someone would be happy to take my research and try to use it as their own, to benefit from it. Has happened to me on a few occassions and I learned to not share all. Besides, being the one-and-only of "anything" on the internet, goes against the "grain" of the internet, to a certain degree. By that I mean, it is about networking, sharing ideas, thoughts, images, information. To be the "only one" in a land of sharing seems pretty self-centered, don't you think?
