GOOD GOING JAPAN! Humans, we are so smart, yet most are reigned by their insecurities, driven to make money which they try to use to cover up their insecurities buying materialistic garbage to hide behind and show off with, trying to hide their vulnerabilities. Everyone wants a bit of attention and we are all vulnerable. Seriously, it is about time this has happened. Glad for Japan, too, they're breaking through the mold of doing things strictly for money, as most is what happens around here. Connecticut, beautiful state, new Walgreens and some flagship Cumberland Farms gas station is built right in the center of this great little town. Walgreens leaves their lights on all nite long, lighting up their commercial asphalt footprint. The roof is flat and large, such a great place for an array of solar panels. however, none are there. By golly, how could they spend a little bit more money? Esp. when the state of CT is giving incentive, at 60% these days was about 50% at the time, though I'm not sure it is available for commercial building, regardless, typical, capitalistic crap, maximize profits, sell cheap crap, but as cheap as possible, cut back on the price of well constructed bolts so the profit margins are bigger. Why? All in the name of making more money, which they use to buy materialistic crap to cover up their vulnerabilities. Cumberland farms, as well, should have solar panels on the roof, all new construction should, regardless of the cost. The cost of long term , and even short term, benefits by far outweigh the hit the companies would take, it would just mean they'd have to forgo buying a new Mercedes for a couple of weeks. Cumberland Farms should also have a station for alternative fuel, like biodiesel or electric, however, again, their concern is only money, they care less for what their businesses bring to town. Friend of mine recently passed away, died of cancer, rest his soul, and he was treated like crap, trying to get his medication from Walgreens in Deep River. Why? because the pharmacist, some complacent a hole, treats him as if he is some druggy. How could she be able to deny someone the type of pain killers he had a script for when they had them in stock? The lady just thinks her poop is good to eat because she's some power-starved, insecure a hole in a small town. My friend took a ride to Middletown and the pharmacist there was more than happy to fill his prescription. That is how these little towns are, full of people who are starved for attention and think they're better than the rest. In Middletown, real stuff happens. My friend was discriminated against because he didn't wear a shirt and tie, drive a bmw and wasn't and a senior citizen.
